The social aftertaste of beer
owned by Fattoriabilità Soc. Coop. Soc. Birrificio Vecchia Orsa
Fattoriabilità is a sensitive social cooperative to the needs of the disadvantaged that aims to create effective opportunities to employment, by developing new forms of work organization, help and support, professional training.
Since 2007 hands with disabilities, under the wise guidance of the Master Brewer, put a micro-brewery Old Bear was born in Crevalcore (BO) in the court called "Orsetta old" hence the name of the brewery.
As a result of the damages suffered because of the earthquake of 2012, and under the impetus created by the increasingly urgent desire to move to more appropriate venue both for correct dimensioning of spaces and production processes, both for visibility of the project and the creation of a visitor reception area (tasting and shop) that qualifies the project, we moved to new premises in San Giovanni in Persiceto (BO).
The December 8, 2012, we managed to open the first shop sketch, January 22, 2013 we finally made the first work in the new plant and 20 April 2013 we formally inaugurated the headquarters of the cooperative and the brewery.
Along with disadvantaged and disabled workers produce nine different types of beer quality, one of which certified organic!
Why not try them all?
We look forward to the store, from where you can see the production plant and where you can taste our beers in a friendly ambience and solidarity!
