The agricultural and livestock company Tenuta di Paganico has an area of 1,500 hectares of which 1,100 are 400 forest and farmland. The vast size and the multiple spatial characteristics allow a wide range of interconnected activities on the basis of a rigorous and consistent production project.
The Company, both in crops that the farm, makes use of an effective balance between traditional methods and the continuous evolution of technology, integrating the valuable contribution of those who always knows the locations that have the experience and scientific knowledge of teachers and college students with whom, for tradition, collaborated.
Since 2002, the whole company has been converted to agriculture and animal husbandry biological methods according to a strategy that interprets the biological not as an improvised approach, but as a systematic review of techniques, habits and tools used for centuries in Maremma, however, on the basis of expertise and innovative technologies.
The crop and livestock activities of the Tenuta di Paganico have the support of agronomists and veterinarians rich experience and a strong passion, the same that drives the property and all those who in this intent devote their energy, to grow the Company in respect for history and territory, not only as it had inherited from its ancestors, but above all as granted by posterity loan.
