The bakery Iordan is a small artisan family business which carries out its activities from 123 years. Francesco Iordan has opened its activity in Capriva Piazza del Friuli in 1890, when the country was still under Habsburg rule. The different generations of bakers have served the community since then without interruption and during the two world wars have continued to do their job. The wood stove in use until 2012 dated back to the Second World War (1949).
essential characteristic of the goods of our bakery from 1890 is the meticulous hand craftsmanship combined with the sourdough, the main features of a healthy and noble product made with sourdough.
Today also the Iordan Bakery goes in the direction of an ideal kilometer zero, which allows traceability of the products and a partnership with local companies: through the use of raw materials sourced locally and the use of a few packages, ecological impact reduced, freshness and quality are guaranteed.
