The organic farm Sant'Antonio Abate was born in 1977 in Ispica, Ragusa, on the southeast coast of Sicily.
The company covers an area of 60 hectares of land totally cultivated with organic farming method to vegetables, citrus orchards, olive groves, almond orchards and various spices.
Fully certified "organic" since 1995, the company specializes in the production of vegetables in their processing, drying and storage in extra virgin olive oil.
The production is divided into four areas:
- Fresh fruit and vegetables;
- Extra virgin olive oil;
- Dried vegetables in the sun and preserved in extra virgin olive oil, sauces, pates of vegetables (olive paste, tapugliati of cherry tomatoes, ...);
- Dried vegetables in the sun and offered in delicious mix ready for use: sauces and condiments for pasta, risotto, pre bruschetta, for starters.
The company's philosophy is to produce genuine and natural specialties, free of preservatives, dyes and chemical flavor enhancers.
The best recipes of the Sicilian tradition are thus proposed "ready": original and easy to prepare.
The drying process they undergo vegetables (natural drying in greenhouses / 5000 square meters of covered drying) causes them to maintain unchanged its structure, the nutrients and organoleptic characteristics.
The company produces flavors for seasoning vegetables in extra virgin olive oil and owns an olive grove, always cultivated with organic method, which gets the oil for the preservation of vegetables and for the preparation of sauces.
A production that thanks to the complete supply chain control is guaranteed "from farm to fork".
