FARMS OF MARTINO - DE LUCA DI ROSETO Tupputi Schinosa sisters Di Martino agricultural companies as is one of the Di Martino family company that for generations has agriculture and attachment to the land indelibly imprinted in their genetic heritage. The 724 hectares in Puglia are cultivated for about 300 hectares of cereals, legumes, sunflowers, tomatoes for industry, while 176 hectares are devoted to olive growing. In Campania, in Gricignano d'Aversa (CE), the family recently implanted a modern vine espalier Asprinio d'Aversa, an ancient vine arrived in the countryside Aversa from France so that it was secured to the Norman court a rich reserve of sparkling wines. Much of the olive groves, on the register of DOP Terra di Bari - subsection Castel del Monte, were implanted by the ancestors of the current administrators using one-sixth of 10X10 facility. To these centenarians plants (cultivar Coratina), maintained in perfect vegetative state, they were added in the last 10 years 15 hectares of olive groves intensive (cultivars Peranzana, Nocellara, Bella di Spagna and Phicholine).
