The Company
Our company was founded in 1970 by Giuseppe Pighin, always fond of fishing and genuine things.
That lake was then born only as a hobby, slowly and with great passion and dedication became our craft, and the pond has become a breeding other from any other; This is why our main goal was to promote a genuine trout, especially, bred by us with unconventional procedures to ensure the quality and wholesomeness of the product.
To get the maximum as we have preserved the original environmental characteristics: lots of running water, very low density of fish, natural food and non-integrated forced to obtain compact and tasty meats and respect for natural growth times.
This allowed us to recreate a natural habitat where salmon trout reach 8-10 kg of weight in 7-8 years! After that, to meet the needs of the market, we decided to go beyond just breeding and to create a product ready and packaged. Through research of traditional processing methods, we created the "Queen of San Daniele", our smoked salmon trout, and from there 'a whole series of products.
All our specialties, as well as being ready to use and easy to use, stand out for the quality and authenticity that makes them light and digestible; why our company, born out of a personal passion, has become a leader in the industry for the quality and naturalness of its products.
